Mark Mistler

Mark Mistler is regional president and head of Commercial Banking for Tucson and Southern Arizona for PNC Bank. Prior to joining PNC in October 2021 through the acquisition of BBVA USA Bancshares, Inc., he served as president and CEO of Tucson and Southern Arizona for BBVA USA for 22 years. Mistler began his career with Valley National Bank in Phoenix before moving back to Tucson in 1987. He worked in various positions with Valley National Bank/Bank One before joining Compass Bank in 1999 as the Tucson market president. 

As regional president in Tucson and Southern Arizona, he leads the combined organization to provide customers and clients in the market with access to a full range of products and capabilities through PNC’s Main Street Bank model. In addition, Mistler is responsible for delivering on the bank’s commitment to supporting local communities across Tucson and Southern Arizona. 

Mistler currently serves on the board of directors for Sun Corridor Inc., the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and is on the Catholic Diocese of Tucson Bishop’s finance council. Mistler is a past chairman of the board of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Other past involvement includes serving on the boards of the National Board of Advisors for the University of Arizona Eller College of Management, The Diocese of Tucson Catholic Foundation, Sister Jose Women’s Shelter, Our Mother of Sorrows Parish Endowment board, Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities (TREO), Tucson Parks Foundation, Junior Achievement of Southern Arizona and Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic School. He also has given his time to the Prima Vera Homeless Shelter, United Way of Southern Arizona, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, and St. Vincent DePaul. 

Mistler attended the University of Arkansas where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration and then attended Arizona State University where he earned an MBA.
