This full-time, salaried, exempt position is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Sun Corridor Inc. national marketing strategies, designed to market Southern Arizona to drive national/international awareness and exposure for business relocation and expansion decisions. Assists in positioning the Sun Corridor Inc. brand to site selectors and real estate professionals, and in showcasing Southern Arizona’s business assets. This position also implements marketing and promotional programs to increase local organizational awareness with stakeholders, investors and the general public, and to market and promote Sun Corridor Inc. on a regional basis. Position responsibilities also include event planning and execution.
Ideal candidate would have experience in a wide variety of programs including but not limited to web site content development/maintenance, digital marketing, event planning, collateral/advertising development including copy and design coordination, e-newsletters, publications/special reports, sponsorship coordination, displays, videos, social media, database maintenance, technical subscriptions, CRM/management systems and other similar background.
Candidate must be a team player; possess excellent written/oral communication, administrative and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, meet project deadlines and work well under pressure.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in either Business, Marketing or related field and 5 years of marketing/communications experience in assigned areas OR an equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by management.
