Ian McDowell has served a variety of preconstruction and operations roles since starting with Sundt Construction in 1995. He currently serves as Vice President & Tucson Regional Director, Building Group.

Ian has spent the majority of his career living and working in Arizona and been involved in projects ranging in value from $100,000 to more than $300 million.

He has served in leadership roles for the Arizona Builders Alliance, American Subcontractors Association and the Associated General Contractors of America. He has also been active in supporting education by volunteering his time inside and outside the classroom at the University of Arizona and other regional universities.

Ian earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and his MBA from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
